The PE and sport premium is designed to help primary schools improve the quality of the PE and sport activities they offer their pupils.
PE and sports are incredibly important to us at St Philip’s. We plan to use the funds to further enhance our children’s love of sports and to help them develop skills they will use for the rest of their lives.
Most schools with primary-age pupils receive the PE and sport premium in the academic year 2024 to 2025, including:
● maintained schools
● academies and free schools
● special schools
● non-maintained special schools
● city technology colleges (CTCs)
● pupil referral units (PRUs)
● general hospitals
Schools with 17 or more eligible pupils receive £16,000 and an additional payment of £10 per pupil.
