Ofsted and SIAMS Report

Ofsted

Ofsted is the independent organisation that inspects and regulates schools in England. Their evaluation helps to ensure that educational institutions meet the highest standards of teaching, learning, and overall care.

Our most recent Ofsted inspection took place in June 2023 and we are pleased to announce we continue to be a ‘Good’ school.

This outcome is a testament to the dedication of our staff, the enthusiasm of our pupils, and the support of our school community. We aim to continue building on our strengths and working together to ensure our school is the best it can possibly be.

SIAMS

As a Church of England school, we are inspected under the SIAMS framework as well as the Ofsted system. SIAMS focuses on the impact of the Church school’s Christian vision on pupils and adults. This involves looking at the school’s Christian vision, the provision the school makes because of this vision, and how effective this provision is in enabling all pupils to flourish.

Our most recent SIAMS inspection took place in November 2017. We are delighted that St Philip’s was awarded an overall grade of ‘Good.’

We would like to thank all pupils, parents, staff, governors and clergy for their support.
