Welcome to Year 3!
Our class teacher is Ms Arshad and Miss Twyford, and our teaching assistant is Mrs Qureshi.
Year 3 is an exciting transition into Key Stage 2, where children continue to develop independence, resilience and confidence across the curriculum.
Through engaging topics and memorable learning experiences, we encourage children to be curious learners who always strive to do their best whilst demonstrating our school values.
Key Information
- PE Days: Monday & Thursday
- Reading Books: Everyday
Books are sent home daily with your child's reading record. Reading for at least 20 minutes each day helps children develop the skills they need to succeed across the curriculum. Strong reading habits improve vocabulary, comprehension, confidence and independence, supporting learning in every subject while opening doors to future opportunities and aspirations. Children who read regularly at home consistently make the greatest progress.
- Homework/Home Learning: Friday and hand-in day is Tuesday.
- Please ensure children bring a named water bottle every day.
