Welcome to Year 4!
Our class teacher is Miss Griffin and our teaching assistant is Miss Tolkien.
In Year 4, children continue to develop as independent learners through exciting lessons, creative opportunities and collaborative learning across the curriculum.
We encourage children to challenge themselves, develop resilience and take pride in their progress whilst living out our school values each day.
Key Information
- PE Days: Tuesdays and Fridays.
- Swimming kit:
- Girls: full swimming costume (one piece only), swimming hat, towel. No earrings on swim days.
- Boys: swimming shorts, towel, hat if hair is shoulder length or longer. No earrings on swim days.
- Reading Books: Need to be in every day. Please ensure that if you read with your child at home, you sign their record book.
- Homework/Home Learning: Handed out on Fridays and back in for Tuesday when we will test spellings.
- MTC: Children in Year 4 will complete a statutory Multiplication Tables Check in the Summer term. Any extra home learning you can do on times tables will make all the difference!
