Miss Haq
Welcome to Year 2!
Our class teacher is Miss Haq, and our teaching assistant is Mrs Sani.
In Year 2, children continue to grow in confidence and independence as they build upon the skills developed in Key Stage 1 through engaging lessons, practical activities and collaborative learning.
We encourage children to challenge themselves, work together and take pride in their achievements whilst showing our school values every day.
Key Information
- PE Days: Tuesdays & Fridays
- Reading Books:
Are sent home daily with your child's reading record. Reading together for at least 20 minutes each day helps children become confident, fluent readers. It builds their vocabulary, understanding, and imagination while supporting their learning across all subjects. Children who read regularly at home are more likely to make strong progress and develop a lifelong love of reading.
- Homework/Home Learning: Set on Friday, due by the following Thursday.
- Please ensure children bring their water bottle in warm weather.
