YEAR 3

Introduction

Hi, my name is Mr Larn and I am the Year 3 teacher. I also have the pleasure of having Ms Boulton in the class and together we have built upon a great understanding of the expectations required within Year 3. I enjoy art, travelling the world and drinking iced coffee.

Hello and welcome to Year 3! I am Mr O’Malley, the Year 3 teacher. I enjoy hiking, watching my team Everton FC (most of the time) and listening to podcasts. I am delighted to be partnering with Ms Boulton and together we have outlined our expectations within year 3, as stated below.

Year 3 Expectation

Homework is handed out on a Friday and is expected to be brought back to school on a Tuesday.

Spellings – Children are given a spelling test every week and are given new words on Friday in their homework books.

Reading books need to be brought in every day and will be changed once they have done an accelerated reading test. It is encouraged that parents read as much as they can with their children as it really helps and shows progression in class.

PE kits – We have PE every Tuesday and Wednesday so please make sure you have your PE kit in school. These will be sent home every half term to be washed.

If you have any questions, please feel free to approach us in the morning or after school, or even send us a message through the front office. We look forward to our year ahead!
